It is different to the G27 shifter though, but I'd take that as a sign that it won't work with it. My G25 shifter didn't work at all with the G29. To expand on other things, the FFB in the G29 is applied almost identically to the G27, though it feels more robust, actually, the logitech software is limited though, so at this time, you can't adjust global device settings.
